Career Highlights:

  • Elected to LPGA Executive Committee and served five years on the LPGA Board of Directors
  • Jean was honored as one of Newsday’s Elite 33 Long Island Athletes of all time and last year was inducted, along with Jim Brown, into the inaugural Nassau County High School Sports Hall of Fame.
  • As an amateur, Jean won the New York State Amateur Championship, the Women’s Metropolitan Stroke & Match Play Championship, the UNC-Woodbridge Invitational and the Duke University Invitational.
  • In 1998 Jean finished runner-up at The NCAA National Championships.
  • After turning professional, Jean competed on the Ladies European Tour (WPGET), the Asian Tour and the Japan LPGA Tour for five years. Jean joined the LPGA Tour in 1996 and played through 2008 full-time before beginning her teaching career.
